rural development

We find ourselves in a territory full of landscapes of rugged geography and unquestionable beauty where we can enjoy its remote corners, its valleys, perhaps enchanted, its rich and varied gastronomy, its ancestral customs and traditions, and the hospitality of its inhabitants... This is the territory of ADRISS, a group of villages surrounded by an incomparable natural setting that will allow you to "Admire, Enjoy, Breathe, Imagine, Simply Feel"..

Agri-food

In the Salamanca Mountain Ranges, agri-food plays a key role in all the economic sectors. Together with the Primary Sector, the Agri-Food Industry is a fundamental part of the food chain, providing added value to primary production: Iberian Ham; Wines; Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Fruit and Vegetable and Forestry Resources; Livestock Resources; Organic Products...

Our aim is to establish a local connection between producers in the area in order to obtain sustainable, environmental and social feedback.

Environment

The environmental diversity of the France, Bejar and Quilamas Mountain Ranges has made them stand out in Spain as a whole. Spaces that stand out for their natural quality, forming an extraordinary mosaic characterised by environmental diversity and quality, in a territory where the mountains, valleys and riverbanks give rise to a wide range of ecosystems associated with the fauna and flora...

Nature thus becomes a first-rate tourist product, contributing to the recreation of a colourful natural museum full of ecosystems, native fauna and flora, as well as landscapes and places of incomparable beauty, where visitors, locals and the natural environment coexist.

The Bejar and France Mountain Ranges Biosphere Reserve, Las Batuecas - Sierra de Francia Natural Park, and the Quilamas and Candelario Natural Spaces are, among others, mountain areas that will delight lovers of nature, hiking and environmental values. In addition, the leafy mountain ranges and the courses of the rivers, which are boxed in by the erosion of their courses, such as the Alagón, the Francia, the Cuerpo de Hombre and the Alto Tormes, form places of unusual beauty and uniqueness. These are the reasons why the Salamanca Mountain Ranges are a must-see destination in Spain, to enjoy a living natural setting.

It's our obligation to respect the environment and to contribute to the fight against climate change.

For nature and sport lovers, it offers endless possibilities with endless routes through its mountains, rivers..., the practice of winter sports in the La Covatilla Ski Resort, the area is ideal for water sports, as well as for fishing and hunting.

Repopulation

Revitalising Salamanca Mountain Rates is a project managed by ADRISS to support and accompany individuals and families interested in developing their life projects in our villages, providing them with tools for this transition.

Participating in the project means being part of training activities and accompaniment of these projects, to have access to the information collected in the land bank, connect with the local initiatives and attend the meetings that are organised. Means being informed about funding lines and subsidies, have access to the resource guide of the different populations in areas such as education, health, culture, etc.

You can also collaborate if you are the owner of a house, property or business in disuse and you want to enhance its value so that a family or a business project can be established there by renting, transferring or selling it.

Education and employment

The main objectives of the ADRISS training strategy are the dynamisation of the territory's resources, the promotion of entrepreneurship and the diversification of economic activities.

At ADRISS we know the territory where we are and we know the importance of putting training at the centre of employment development and self-employment programmes.

For this reason, we offer a platform to connect the different economic agents of the territory, the institutions that offer training programmes, the companies that hire labour, the administrations that offer grants and subsidies... all with the aim of continuing development in our villages, favouring generational change, giving visibility to rural women and introducing new technologies and innovation in local companies.

Digitalization

Promoting the digitalization and introducing the companies of the Salamanca Mountain Rates in the online world is one of the areas of development that we have in our sights in order to keep the territory updated and present beyond our borders.

There's a latent need in rural areas for the knowledge of digital tools and processes, therefore, from ADRISS we want to contribute to digital education and act as intermediaries and connectors between local businesses and administrations to generate opportunities for sustainable digital development that implies an important social transformation in our territory.

Cooperation and partnerships

ADRISS seeks to establish a series of partnerships with entities that share their same objectives, as we consider that the cooperation between entities and the public-private synergies are the only ways to achieve the aims of the entity.

Creating alliances with different groups and entities, as well as regional cooperation projects, allows us to reach further and generate more opportunities in the Salamanca Mountain Rates.

Because beyond managing projects and energising the territory, our job is to generate employment, businesses, services and stability.
